Chengdu Santon Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. Becomes a Founding Member of Sichuan Aerospace Power Alliance

On the afternoon of March 23, 2021, the unveiling ceremony of the Sichuan Aerospace Power Innovation Center was held at the College of Chemical Engineering, Sichuan University. Hou Taiping, Vice President of Sichuan University, Le Jialing, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Zhai Gang, Deputy Director of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology, delivered speeches successively at the ceremony. Professor Li Xiangyuan, Director of the Innovation Center, reported on the center’s preparation progress, the advancement of current key research projects and major innovative tasks for the future.

Led by Sichuan University and established on the basis of enterprise alliance cooperation, the Sichuan Aerospace Power Innovation Center is the first provincial-level innovation center in the field of aerospace power across China. Based on original core technologies, the center will play an industrial leading role in the design and manufacturing of new aerospace engines.
