Leaders and Experts of China Tungsten Industry Association Visit and Investigate Santon Cemented Carbide

On March 14, 2025, a delegation from the China Tungsten Industry Association (CTIA), including Vice Chairman Mao Yuting, Secretary-General Wu Siping, Deputy Secretary-General Song Yingqi, expert Wang Shuhua from the Professional Committee of Information, and Senior Commissioner Zhang Ying, visited Chengdu Santon Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. for investigation and research. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on technological innovation, industry trends and corporate development plans. Peng Shaoyu, Chairman of Santon, Yan Min, General Manager, Huang Ligang, Manufacturing Director, and relevant department heads attended the meeting.

During the exchange meeting, Peng Shaoyu introduced the company’s development history and development vision. Yan Min delivered a detailed report to the association’s leaders and experts on the company’s progress in recent years, covering technological innovation, product research and development, industry-university-research cooperation, domestic and overseas market expansion, talent team building, intelligent upgrading and medium- and long-term development plans.

Vice Chairman Mao Yuting fully affirmed the company’s proactive efforts and remarkable achievements in technological innovation, product R&D, industry-university-research cooperation, market expansion, talent cultivation and intelligent transformation. He encouraged the enterprise to maintain firm confidence and strive for greater breakthroughs in technological innovation, product development, in-depth industry-university-research cooperation, intelligent upgrading and industrial upgrading of the tungsten sector. The two parties also conducted in-depth discussions on the 15th Five-Year Development Plan of China’s tungsten industry, industrial policies and changes in the international market.

Subsequently, accompanied by Chairman Peng Shaoyu and General Manager Yan Min, the association’s leaders and experts visited the company’s production workshops and technology center, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the production environment, processing procedures and R&D progress. Secretary-General Wu Siping highly recognized the company’s outstanding efforts and achievements in production operation and technological research, and encouraged Santon to make greater progress in differentiated development, deep processing and import substitution.

The visit and guidance from the association’s leaders and experts further strengthened communication and cooperation between the association and the enterprise.
